Jade's Bag Chosen to Switch on Preston Christmas Lights!

Join Us This Saturday for a Magical Community Celebration!

We are absolutely over the moon to share some incredibly exciting news… Jade’s Bags has been chosen as this year’s official “Switch On Star” for the Preston Christmas Lights! 🎄✨

Selected through a public competition run by Preston BID and Blog Preston, this honour means the world to us, not just as a charity, but as a family, and as part of this amazing community. Debbie, the founder of Jade’s Bags, will take to the stage this Saturday, 22nd November, to help light up the city and launch Preston’s festive season.

This moment is especially meaningful, as Jade’s Bags was created in memory of Debbie’s daughter, Jade — a beautiful, kind, and caring young woman who dedicated her time to helping others. Through Jade’s Bags, her compassion continues to shine across Preston, supporting hospital patients, families in need, those experiencing homelessness, and women in refuges. To have this work recognised by the people of Preston is truly heart-warming.

Please note, as it’s a live event full of wonderful performers, timings may shift slightly, but we’ll be ready and waiting by the stage!
